Oooh, so the person in the white cloak is the Matriarch! Whatever is she doing in the Ocean? Well, remember that this is supposed to be a flashback, so it happened before Chapter 2 itself, so correction - what was she doing in the Ocean talking to these people?

 

And gosh, sombre looks everywhere! The lady with the pincers on the head (hmmm, I wonder just who can that be?) seems quite upset, and that hunky male with the trident chain on his head (hmmm...trident?) seems visibly annoyed or at least, deep in thought. Or what do you think these few panels interpret?
