Even the ancient archivists have had a wrong impression of the Vikings, who are often thought to be pirates that thrive in harsh, frigid conditions. They have been notoriously known to plunder ships as well as decimating the entire crew.

Vikings are a fierce and proud people, and they do live for the thrills of battle. The Vikings do not suffer from bloodlust, however. Due to their service to Skadi - who is not only known as one of the patrons of the Element of Frost but also a strong and merciless hunter - the Vikings think that a warrior who does not fight to his death is weak, one who will be unworthy to serve in the glory of Skadi.

For the Vikings who have pledged their axes to the Element, they have been able to calm and satiate their lust for battle. They are still infamous in the frigid seas, for they now guard their lands zealously, fending off enemies of the Frost. They hardly ever miss their attacks, and a well-aimed swing of their axes can decapitate their enemies' heads clean.
