TIER 9

 

Not all men who devote their lives to the Element of Light are capable warriors. For the men who wish to serve and yet cannot carry a sword or hammer, they take on the passive role of healing and prayer. Thus formed the Priesthood of the Light.

 

The Priesthood of today takes on a more active role. Having experienced the soothing warmth and the blinding power of the Light, some of the Priests undergo a unique transformation. Their souls hold the magical power of the Light, even though they were never practitioners of magic. These Priests then become Monks, servants of the Light able to produce light to an intensity that can hurt enemies.

 

By shaping their light magic into spheres, the Monks can hurl them at foes from afar. Each sphere bursts into brilliant light beams upon impact, blinding those within its circumference. The target is burned horrendously, almost similar to being electrocuted.

 

When they are not in battle, however, Monks pray to their respective patrons day and night. Monks will pray for the welfare of the Priesthood, the protection of the Light's followers, as well as seeking guidance on this holy path they walk.
