There is no restriction that ladies who enter into the Priesthood has to devout their life, body and soul entirely to the Light. Since the first girl accepted into the Priesthood, there has been a silent consensus that all Priestesses should be virgins.

 

The Priestesses of the Light, also known as the Priestesses of the Holy Order, are trained to be healers. They imbue the power of the Light into their craft, healing the most grievous of wounds inflicted upon the soldiers. Their chanting and singing also act as wards that benefit the entire army.

 

They are, however, not weak maidens. There are times when the Priestesses would step into an active role, utilizing their spells to inflict hurt on their enemies. Their chants can also be turned on their enemies, causing emotional and mental shock.
