A Banshee is another spirit, but unlike the Ghost, the Banshee is not so restricted by movement. However, she is always damned to follow the Necromancer who has raised the Banshee. That is why there are chains imprisoning the Banshee to herself.

 

A Banshee, unlike the Ghost, is a spirit of silence. In life, they were made to keep their silence over certain matters, such as the truth over a cruel lie, or they were victims of abuse and were unable to share their hurt. In death, their hidden sorrow and anger give them voice to their powers.

 

A Banshee's cry, or a song as some Necromancers call it, is her main power. It can be eerily beautiful and sad to listen to, when it is not at full power. Her cry can make the living despair, weakening them such that they will be unable to fight, or to incapacitate them to be easy pickings for the other Dark forces, like the Skeletons.

 

However, they value their freedom and they are always seeking to be freed of their links to their masters. As powerful as they are, it remains to be seen where their loyalties lie...
