There are many spirits in the world and each and every one of them is categorized into a specific type, based on their cause of deaths or their reasons of becoming a spirit.

 

The Ghost is one of the spirits that are made to serve the Necromancers. Ghosts are spirits of regret. The reason why they become spirits that cannot fly, constantly rooted to Earth and bound to a particular place, which is not always the place of their death, is because of a particular longing or regret.

 

Ghosts are made to return because of something they have yet to fulfil, and this came to their minds as they were about to die. As such, this thought becomes a great force that anchors them to the world of the living.

 

It is also this that Necromancers believe they are powerful. Ghosts are insubstantial and therefore cannot be hurt by physical weapons. Ghosts will also do anything to seek peace, to be given a new life, even if that means following the will of their Dark Lords and killing the living...
