Contrary to belief, a Zombie isn't a dead corpse reanimated or brought back to an undead life. It certainly is a corpse, but it isn't made up of just one.

 

Deep in the bowels of the Necropolis, Initiates are made to scavenge body parts for the Necromancer they follow. Most of the time, human parts are used but in quite a number of cases, a Zombie could have parts that belonged to another humanoid or a monster.

 

As much as possible, a Zombie is kept as close as it was to its death condition, but to prevent the messy spilling of guts, stitches are not uncommon. Weapons can be attached to a Zombie - after all, it is undead and mindless.

 

A Zombie is slow and relatively weak, but because it was constructed from actual corpses, the foul bacteria and diseases from the rotting flesh make it deadly, even from a single touch. Zombies are also tireless, following its master's command until it falls into pieces, awaiting to be patched up again.
