Fenrir is a vicious and monstrous wolf that was foretold to be one of the most powerful adversaries that would tear down the realm of the Nordic Gods. This definitely cannot happen and as such, the patrons of the Element of Frost, namely Skadi and Artemis, set out to hunt this monster.

With the soothing guidance of Khonsu, whose moonlight managed to trap the beast, the Goddesses first sought to tame it. Despite her prowess over the animals of the Hunt, Artemis wasn't able to control the monster - Fenrir was too filled with hatred and lust for the fall of this world. They had no choice then, but to kill it.

The Goddesses did save Fenrir's litter, however. They cannot be truly tamed as the viciousness of Fenrir still runs in their blood and not even the powers of the Gods could alter that. With magical chains and runes, they managed to control the rage and killing instinct of these wolves.

In the battlefield, these Fenrirs charge straight at their enemies, together with the likes of the Vikings and Valkyries. Their hides are embedded with ice crystals, making them tougher and thus, harder to bring down. Their claws and teeth make short work of their prey, as armor is but a minor hindrance for the Fenrirs to go through.

From afar, all that can be seen of Fenrir's savage and brutal carnage is the sight of their tails waving in the midst of the spilling of blood...
