"Silent wings flutter across the dark, blood-tainted skies, their visage remained pure and cold. Salvation? Nay. Like common sisters to the Crow Goddess, the Valkyries raise the dead to serve them in the undying Halls of Valhalla..."

These are the words of a known scribe. Valkyries, stalwart protectors of the Frost, are often linked to the Element of Death. Many records have also stated of how battle survivors have seen these warrior-like maidens retrieving the bodies of their comrades, to be honored and raised as dead. This created a fear of these powerful creatures, and the knowledge that their presence signifies death.

As unbelievable and horrifying as it sounds, there is some truth in it, though much of it is twisted. Valkyries, like many who come under the flag of Frost, revel in honor and relish battles. In a battlefield, they have the power to determine who lives and who dies, and this is especially important for those on the brink of death.

Valkyries will honor those who have fought excellently, rewarding them with renewed life. Those who were not valiant enough will die, though not every soul will enter the Halls of Valhalla. In this way, Valkyries are also seen as healers on the battlefield, often benefiting their own armies as surely, they wouldn't have anything but the best in battle.

When they are not utilizing their unique powers, the Valkyries will show off their battle prowess. They are strong, wise and agile, and best of all, the Valkyries work together as a team. Many an enemy have retreated upon seeing this fearsome force of battle maidens approaching them in shining armor...
