They hide in the tallest and coldest of mountains, where the frigid conditions and treacherous terrain discourage people from entering into their domain. The heavy snowfall, resulting in massive snow caps, hides any trace of their presence. These creatures prefer their peace and solitude and even they don't meet other Yetis, for such confrontations often lead to disastrous fights.

The only one time when Yetis can live at peace with each other and other creatures is when the Guardian of Frost summons their presence for battle. The Yetis will then cooperate with each other, behaving in such a way that no one will ever think they are creatures of solitude.

Yetis are non-magical creatures, relying on their physical strength to overpower their opponents in battle. Their thick fur and hide, used to protect them from the cold winds of the mountains, provide great defense. Their sharp claws, horns and massive bulk are their weapons in battle. Yetis are known to charge at enemies in battle, using their sheer size to break down and through strategically placed defenses, or to stun enemy targets.

During a charge, Yetis may also attempt to gore enemies with their horns. Most of the time, however, they use their claws to attack and disembowel their targets. Some Yetis do not head to the front of the battlefield. They remain at the back, using their strength to hurl massive snowballs at the enemy. The "leaders" will also bark orders to fellow Yetis, a way to organize the individuals into a powerful contingent.
