THOR God of Thunder (Norse)
The Element of Light is a unique Element. The Element of Light has sovereignty over light, purity, lightning, and electricity. Even her Patrons have prowess over other realms, such as the sky and the sun. Thor, widely known as the God of Thunder, is one of Light's Patrons. He has the powers to create storms and is also sometimes associated with oak trees and fertility.
At first glance, one would think that this God is the Patron of the Element of Might. Thor is a mighty God - tall, well-built and battle-hardened. He exudes an aura of strength, vigor, and confidence. Unlike most Gods, Thor doesn't wear heavy armor even in his battle form, for he trusts in his powers and his weapon, the mighty Mjolnir.
Mjolnir is a hammer that can be wielded only by Thor. It responses only to Thor's commands and no matter where Thor swung it to or dropped it, Mjolnir will always return to the hands of its owner. Thor and Mjolnir have crushed the skulls of the many enemies of the Element of Light. Even when not used as a physical weapon, Mjolnir can strengthen and hasten Thor's control over thunder and lightning. Enemies shriek in terror when they see Mjolnir surrounded by cackling lightning, flying towards them. Thor and his hammer are well known and feared across even the other Elements.
Thor isn't really as imposing as he seems, however. Despite his stern demeanor and power, Thor is known to enjoy jokes, laughter, and many, many drinks, even amongst his fellow Gods and Goddesses. To his followers, Thor is strict but fair. He has been known to grant huge favors and gifts to those he exalts. With the aid of Zeus, Thor has gifted the Thunderbird to the Element of Light, a bird of immense strength and power.
Thor's followers embark on a journey to fulfill their God's mission: to clear the world of filth and its shadows of corruption, cleansing the darkness in everyone with the purity of electrifying Light. Thor empowers them with the wrath and vengeance of a storm, and many of them are feared and with reason; some of Thor's followers turn into fanatics as they heed their Patron's call, giving birth to the Inquisitors who judge and slaughter with the immense powers of lightning.
