The Twelve Days of YForce

Finally! We will reveal to you now what is coming up next for YForce!

First of all, the most important news for YForce.....we will be launching our Patreon site pretty soon! Woohoo! It will most probably be out during the festive season, since it's a Season of Giving, right?

But I don't want you treating us like solicitors. God forbid, no. By having a platform such a Patreon, by having such a news, it doesn't mean I am forcing you guys to pay for this comic. YForce will still be free, but your kind donations will definitely help.

As I am pretty much self-employed, there are times when I cannot put my vision to action. With your support through Patreon, I can pay doubleleaf more for her fabulous artwork! Also, I can use the funds to better improve the website and probably, even get better stuff (apps, a better comp, a full-time editor...etc) to assist with the comic. Last but not least, in the short or long run, your support can also help YForce and myself to reach our real dream; to have this comic printed out! Many of you have been asking for a printed version of this comic and I sure hope that it can happen!

There are definitely different tiers to the funding and there will be different rewards, such as bookmarks, fanart piece, access to never before seen sketches and art on YForce and many more... :)

But enough of that, for you can read all these "why and what for" info on the Patreon page when it's launch. Time to move on to other news!

So, why did I mention that the Twleve Days of Christmas (or the Twelve Days of YForce) will be special this year?

To commemorate YForce being launched in 2014, to go side-by-side with our Patreon launch as well as to welcome 2015, we have this event in motion. As there are Twelve Days of Christmas, as well as Twelve Zodiac Animals in the Lunar Calender, we will start this thing on Christmas Day and span it over to January, which will be 2015 already!

So after all that talk, what is it?

We will be revealing special line art of all Twelve boys (12 days of Christmas = Twelve Zodiacs = Twelve boys...go figure ^^), one on each day. These line art are part of something even bigger...Special Limited Edition Postcards!

So every day for the Twelve Days of Christmas, a special line art will be revealed, depicting the character in a very funny and most probably cute way of inviting in 2015. Therefore, on Saturdays (which are our usual page upload days), there will be NO page uploads while this event is going on. (that means there will not be a page upload on 27th Dec and 3rd Jan)

The line art will be released on 3 separate platforms - 4 will be revealed on YForce Comic's main site, 4 will be revealed on our Facebook fanpage and 4 will be revealed on our Tumblr. So be sure to check all 3 platforms in order to not miss out any of them!

What are these postcards for, then?

Well, I am still gonna keep this information to myself just a little longer. Stay tune to the Twelve Days of Christmas and find out what these Postcards are for... (and nope, they are not part of the tiered rewards for Patreon)
