Now, I am sure you are wondering, why is the Goddess of Harvest representing Earth? Well technically, things that grow is part of the nature of Earth. Secondly, she is also the Goddess of the Earth's fertility. Poseidon, another contender of Earth due to his powers in causing earthquakes, is already representing the Element of Water. I wouldn't like to reuse another Godly figure, so Demeter was chosen.

Which leads you to think now...if a Goddess who rules over plants and harvests (even Persephone is here) represents the Element of Earth, who then is representing Nature?
