The Bad and the Good...News
Firstly, I have to apologise to all readers.
There have been so many changes in the past few months and I know that many of you have been affected. It is definitely hard to say goodbye to the art that we started with and to be faced with a different style a few chapters in. Not only that, the change in posting schedule did get some of you readers disappointed, for even one page a week was too agonising a wait for many of you! Even I, who love to read webcomics too, get so anguished when my favorite comic is without an upload for that week.
Therefore, I can greatly understand how you YForcers feel with the changes and I am so sorry for that.
Now, there are a couple more changes and once again, I would like to apologise for these changes.
First off, the bad news.
With this week's page upload, which will be Page 14 of Chapter 2, we will have to say goodbye to Red Bandana Chick. She has worked really hard the past months to do up Chapter 2 until this point, taking over the work for Chapter 2 when doubleleaf had to leave the project (no pun intended!).
However, things were not meant to be. Red Bandana Chick is overwhelmed with her school work as well as meeting the demands for YForce, so she has come to the decision that she has to focus on her studies. As such, she will be leaving YForce, with Page 14 being the last of her work for the project.
BUT! Hey, not to fret! We still have RedNoodle and you have not even seen his works yet (other than the few tantalising teasers) and of course, we also have a piece of good news to share with you!
After a long absence, doubleleaf will be returning to YForce!!!! Her workload has reduced and she is now better able to manage her time. As such, in my rush to find an artist to complete Chapter 2, she has agreed to return to the project! Woohoo!
Personally, I do find it a lil bit disturbing to have a chapter that is split between styles. As much as I try to avoid giving readers that kind of confusion, I am unable to stop what fate has in store for YForce. All I can say is, once Chapter 2 is over, doubleleaf and I will try our best to work on re-inking the first 14 pages of the chapter, so that we can get a single standard.
There is also another point I will have to bring up. Chapter 2 will be the only chapter doubleleaf will be working on with her return. Once Chapter 2 is complete, doubleleaf will still be working with YForce, but only on the fillers and back stories. Although her schedule has lessened, she is still very busy! I am grateful that she will be returning to work with YForce, even if it's for the back stories only.
With that said, every chapter starting from Chapter 3 will be worked on by RedNoodle. He will be the main artist of YForce so I hope you will give him your best support and encouragement! While working with YForce on the pages, he is also focusing on his own work as well as his own comic project! You can find out more about his project here.
As such, both RedNoodle and doubleleaf are very busy people, but they are still very willing to work with a new creator / writer like myself, to bring the best of YForce to you.
