On the First Day of Christmas, my YForce gave to me...

Remember what we said about these lineart / postcards to be? The concept is to blend in Christmas with the Lunar New Year. With twelve boys, twelve days of Christmas and twelve zodiac animals in the Lunar calender, it just seems right!

Note: This may not be the final lineart to be used for the postcards. Changes may be made along the way before the final product is printed.

So, the first one we present to you is Phineas aka Hurricade! He is representing the Year of the Horse! 2014 is the Year of the Horse for the Lunar Calender and it is only fitting to introduce the Horse first for this event.

In the Lunar calender zodiac mythology, the Heavenly King of the Gods, the Jade Emperor, made a decree to host a race for all the animals. Winners of the race would be given a spot in the Lunar astrology.

In the race, the Horse came in seventh. Although the Horse is a fast animal, with how early automobiles being called mechanical horses, the Horse was not first. It could be because a Horse is a free-spirited creature and does not like to be tied down to constraints.

Here are some years which represent the Horse:

2026, 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954...

Are you born in the Year of the Horse then, according to the Lunar Calender? :)
